Format of the seminars

The BIP seminars are intended to provide useful and constructive feedback about work-in-progress, at different stages of development. The format is:

1. Papers should be circulated a week in advance

2. Everyone commits to read the paper in advance

3. The author has 5 minutes to explain what they need in terms of feedback (e.g. what journals to choose, how to develop theory or methods, unfinished hypotheses, ideas for grant applications, etc.)

4. The rest of the time is for a constructive discussion

5. Tone should remain constructive and respectful. We are here to help each other, not to feed egos.
